The focus of this class is to awaken our very practical and often overlooked potential of using our hands, both for mental well-being and reconnection. Paying homage to our ancestors who would sit in circles and make things with their hands. A core part of being in community, feeling connected to yourself and others. Date and time: Come and join us for this special event on Saturday 11th June from 10am-12.30pm at the JFF Rooftop Farm, 70 Juta Street Braamfontein. Cost: Sliding scale between R250 – R750 per person, with the option to sponsor someone. One ball of wool, a pair of knitting needles and some nibbles will be sponsored, the funds raised will go towards our first programme Wise Hands Apprenticeship which will provide skills workshops and an option to sign up for business coaching to help people put “bread on the table” with their own hands. There will also be lots of coffee and plants for you to buy… what more can you ask for?
